Marhaban!

What is this - "Our Arabic Experiment"?

Dear friends, with Hazem's help, we want to learn Arabic! Is it possible to learn Arabic online? It seems to be so very difficult - look alone at the complicated Arabic letters! There are two ways of writing: Naskh is for printing, and also children learn Naskh first, while Req'a is the handwriting of adult Arabs. Gosh, I would be already happy if I could write and read Naskh!

I would like to learn this interesting language, but it is so different from all the other foreign languages I have been learning by now, that to me, it really IS an "experiment"! :-)

So what will we do here?

We will learn to write and to speak in Arabic. With Arabic podcasts. And with information about the Arabian people, their life, their countries. Everybody who is interested to join us - Welcome!
